Brief overview: 

This class will give you the basic knowledge to begin your beekeeping journey. We will discuss the basics of Honey Bee Biology and why our beloved bees do what they do. We will give an overview on beekeeper terminology; how and why beekeepers maintain their colonies. We will show you how to combine your understanding of Honey Bee biology and terminology in order to apply that knowledge to get you through your first year as a beekeeper and beyond.

Beekeeping is a science not a hobby. One could spend their entire life learning about this amazing insect but never truly "master" the subject. This class is intended for beginners to give you foundational information on the basics of beekeeping.
